Delete Your Account

You can delete your Basket account, and the personal data tied to it, at any time. Here is how, and exactly what is removed.

1. Delete it yourself in the app (fastest)

This is built directly into Basket and takes effect immediately:

1. Open Basket and go to Settings.
2. Tap Delete My Account.
3. Confirm your identity when asked, then confirm the deletion.

The same option works on both Android and iOS.

2. What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently and immediately removes:

• Your sign-in and profile (email, name, login).
• Your recipes, and any photos, comments, and reviews attached to them.
• Your follow relationships.
• Your personal nutrition data (biometrics and food log), if you used the nutrition tracker.
• Your device push-notification token.

3. What is kept, and why

A household's shared data (its staples and shopping lists) is not deleted if other members still rely on it. That shared data stays only as long as it is useful to the remaining members, and it is never linked back to your deleted account or personal information. If you are the only member of a household, that household's data is removed along with your account.

4. If you cannot open the app

If you have lost access to the app or your device and still want your account deleted, email privacy@nordicravensolutions.com from the email address on your account. We will verify the request and delete your account and personal data within 30 days.
